MY JOURNEY TO WELLNESSMy holistic journey started out with a fascination and unsuccessful attempt at Veganism (I lost that battle to a pregnancy craving). The older I got, the more I started to seek out a more natural and holistic lifestyle. I began to experiment with different herbs & oils; creating products for my own personal use and to share with friends and family. Going down the rabbit hole that is Google led me to taking over 350 hours of herbalist certification courses, reading countless books, and eventually becoming a professional integrative herbalist. Herbalism, then in turn, exposed me to the world of integrative healing and cooperative medicine and marked the start of a new spiritual wellness journey.

I'VE BEEN EMBRACING HOLISTIC LIVING FOR OVER 10 YEARSOn this journey of mine, I discovered a love for astrology. I enjoy studying the cosmos and their influence over everything on this beautiful planet. The movement of the stars and their interactions with each other, affect us all. This is a theme that is constantly repeated in my studies of various holistic healing practices. It is also a theme present in the creation of my products and services, but also how I work with clients.

ON THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESSI'd always considered myself an advocate for women, but once I became a mother in 2017 I was introduced to a whole new group of women in need of support... Pregnant women and new mothers hardly have all the resources they need to transition into their new lives and roles. Those resources are significantly reduced when those women are women of color
I started In Day's Care LLC to help provide those resources. I became a holistic doula to support women at each stage of motherhood, to help empower women by providing knowledge and preparing them for their futures. I became a Holistic Health Practitioner to make holistic health more accessible to those around me and to umbrella all the different support services offered by In Day's Care LLC.

"I remember always feeling like there were lots of problems but few solutions in my life. When I acknowledged my past, my traumas, my pain; I was able to heal myself. In complete self acceptance comes unconditional love. When you truly love yourself & know that you are worthy of being loved, you stop accepting less. Changing my mind literally changed my life."
